Aluminum strontium alloy is a long-term modifier for aluminum-silicon casting alloys. The alloy overcomes the shortcomings of short validity period of sodium salt modification and unstable product quality, etc., and ensures the casting quality of the aluminum-silicon alloy.

The products are delivered in blocks and granules, lined with plastic bags and sealed in 50kg iron drums.

Performance and Features
1. The modification period is long and the actual yield of the modification agent is relatively stable, so the modification effect is easy to control, the casting quality is more stable;
2. Aluminum strontium alloy has stable chemical properties, no worries about oxidation and moisture absorption, and it is convenient for storage and transportation.
Aluminum strontium alloy is mainly used for the modification of hypoeutectic and eutectic aluminum-silicon alloys. Compared with the traditionally used sodium metal, the modification type has the following significant advantages:
1. The metamorphism period of strontium is long, up to 5-7h, and the good metamorphic effect is still maintained after repeated remelting;
2. The mechanical properties of strontium-modified castings reach and exceed the effect of sodium modification, especially after heat treatment, which has better effect than sodium modification. Its alloy fluidity and seawater corrosion resistance is good, it can significantly reduce shrinkage cavity.
