CaSi cored wire

Product description

Silicon-calcium cored wire is used in the production of high-quality steel, special steel, and special alloys, such as rail steel, low carbon steel, stainless steel, and other steel grades and nickel-based alloys, titanium-based alloys, and other special alloys, all of which can be used as oxygen absorbers. Both calcium and silicon have a strong affinity for oxygen, especially calcium. Calcium not only has a strong affinity with oxygen but also has a strong affinity with sulfur and nitrogen.

Φ9/13mm; the inner packaging is packed in plastic film and the outer packaging is equipped with the steel cage, one coil for one steel cage.

Performance and Features

Both calcium and silicon have a strong affinity for oxygen, especially calcium. Calcium not only has a strong affinity with oxygen, but also has a strong affinity with sulfur and nitrogen. Therefore, silicon-calcium alloy is an ideal composite glue agent and desulfurizer. Silicon alloy not only has strong deoxidation capacity, the deoxidation product is easy to float, easy to discharge, but also can improve the performance of steel, improve the plasticity, impact toughness and fluidity of steel.

Applications

Silicon-calcium cored wire is used in the production of high-quality steel, special steel and special alloys, such as rail steel, low carbon steel, stainless steel and other steel grades and nickel-based alloys, titanium-based alloys and other special alloys, all of which can be used as oxygen absorbers. Silicon-calcium alloy is also suitable as a warming agent for converter steelmaking workshop, and silicon-calcium alloy can also be used as an inoculant for cast iron and an additive in ductile iron production.
